Export Compliance Officer
Full-time, Exempt

Under general supervision of the General Counsel, supports ongoing operations and administrative processes to maintain the export compliance functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university or 8 - 10 years experience in a Compliance capacity.
- Knowledge of export licensing requirements and governing regulations, ITAR, EAR, OFAC, ATF, and other regulations preferred.
- Paralegal experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of US customs laws and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise Export Compliance Staff
- Consult with and support business units/department and HR in identifying, planning and delivering export compliance training to all pertinent personnel.
- Manage License and Agreement files as well as any other WSG agency files and maintains databases relating to expiration dates and other required reporting functions.
- Draft or prepare appropriate documents/licenses and permit applications/proposed agreements to meet the company's business needs and submits to the US DoS, DDTC, Dept. of Commerce or other governmental agencies.
- Responsible for creating an ECCN and USML matrix for all products that may be shipped by the company.
- Receive and respond promptly to problems, inquiries or complaints that arise during the process of obtaining an export license.
- Act as company representative with government agencies responding to inquiries and requests as required.
- Maintain strict compliance with the regulations and laws of export control as established by US government agencies and other foreign regulations as applicable.
- Attend appropriate export seminars, meetings, conferences and other export compliance educational/training programs offered by the US government and/or private industry to remain current in new developments in all areas of export compliance.
