For over 30 years our Company has evolved from a Miami purchasing agent and export house to a full line stocking industrial distributor. With three warehouses and several million dollars worth of PVF stock, we are positioned to supply the industrial needs of South Florida, Central/South America, and the Caribbean like no other company.

Heavy involvement in Central & South America (bilingual required)

HOURS: 7:30am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday

LOCATION: SOUTHWEST MIAMI 

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Logistics & Compliance Coordinator (Bilingual Spanish/English required)

This is a new position.

Logistics is the management of the flow of goods, information and other resources, including energy and people, between the point of origin and the point of consumption in order to meet the requirements of consumers. Logistics involves the integration of information, transportation, inventory, warehousing, material-handling, and packaging. Logistics is a channel of the supply chain which adds the value of time and place utility.

• Candidates MUST have a solid logistics background (the position requires more outbound/exporting knowledge than inbound/importing BUT both sides are required)
• Candidates MUST BE BILINGUAL SPANISH/ENGLISH due to the involvements w/ Central & South America.
• Candidates MUST have a solid knowledge and experience of all t and Export Procedures and Compliance; Documentation Process, including banking for Letter of Credit’s Collection.
• 2 people in the department report to the Coordinator
• Manager will be expected to work with vendors/etc to save the company money
• ***The Company is looking to become more involved in a compliance programs with all import/export relationships- Candidates being considered MUST HAVE EXPORT COMPLIANCE KNOWLEDGE. In other words, candidates must know the export laws and the compliance side of the business. This is a must!

SALARY:

• $50,000 - 70,000
