Position: CUSTOMS SPECIALIST

Location: Kentucky

Overview:  Join the growing Import Compliance department of a successful industry leading wearing apparel company.  Full management support!  Great work environment with opportunity for advancement!

Key Responsibilities:

-Conduct pre and post entry review audits
-Perform HTS classification of wearing apparel products
-Review CROSS and apply for binding rulings as necessary
-Communicate with CBP regarding CF28’s and CF29’s, etc.
-Communicate Customs requirements to team members and coworkers
-Develop improved compliance procedures as necessary
-Prepare export invoicing and documentation as required
-Determine and report proper valuation for  Reconciliation entries
-Oversee customs broker entry process for proper classification, origin, FTA and value

Skills/Qualifications:

-Licensed Customs Broker preferred
-Experience with CBP import rules and regulations
-Experience with HTS classification of wearing apparel
-Experience with valuation and Reconciliation
-Bilingual, Spanish preferred
-Bachelor Degree highly desirable
