Education: Requires BS/BA in Business, Finance or related field. Advanced degree is highly desired.
Requirements:
- Must have extensive knowledge of the FAR, DFAR, EAR, ITAR, TINA and D-Trade license processing. Knowledge of BATFE regulations is preferred
- Requires an individual with 5 or more years of contract administration experience including: knowledge of pricing and proposal development, negotiation and understanding of U. S. Government and International commercial contractual instruments including: contract type, terms and conditions, shipping terms and contract financing vehicles
- 2 years U. S. Government contract experience with ITAR classified products is required, International contracting experience is preferred
- Experience working as an Export Import Compliance Officer is a plus
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to relate and communicate with employees at all levels of the company is required
- Must have demonstrated strong negotiating skills on complex projects
Job functions/responsibilities:
- Position will have responsibility for U. S. Government and International contract management.
- Participates in proposal preparation, contract negotiations, contract administration and customer contact activities to provide for proper contract fulfillment with company policies, legal requirements and customer specifications
- Assist in the examining and evaluating cost estimate for material, equipment, production costs, performance requirements and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Provide strategic export/import and BATFE advice and support to the LCAAP organization, initiating strategies, programs, processes and tools to meet strategic and critical business challenges
- Interpret technical procedures, jurisdictional application of government regulations and work collaboratively with LCAAP, Supply Chain Management, Program Management and Business Development teams to deliver solutions to international programs and strategies
