Position: Operations Import Manager

Location: Houston, TX

Overview:  Experienced Licensed Customs Broker to oversee import operations.

Job Summary: Responsible for all aspects of Import brokerage to include: entry, ACH, CF 28’s, 29’s, post entry; breakbulk; full P& L responsibilities; full accounting duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run the day to day activities of a Import Operations
• Staff oversight, including HR duties
• Full Budget oversight/responsible for profitability of office
• 100% import compliance responsibility for office
• Transportation Tracking
•  Accounting activities

Requirements, Skills and Qualifications:

• Licensed Customs Broker mandatory
• Minimum 5 – 10 years industry/management experience – thorough knowledge of all aspects for running an Import Brokerage Department
• Ability to work with internal and external customers
• Self motivated, driven, well organized, customer focused
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
