Title: EXPORT COMPLIANCE MANAGER

Location: Connecticut

Job Summary: Join the trade compliance team of a solid Fortune 100 company. 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide export compliance training for export compliance to employees
  
• Develop and implement export compliance processes and procedures
  
• Monitor export regulations and advise business units of changes and new requirements
  
• Communicate export compliance policies and procedures to business units
  
• Draft and submit Commerce and State Department export licenses and agreements
  
• Update company intranet export compliance website
  
• Make jurisdiction and export classification determinations
  
• As main point of contact determine BIS and  ITAR license applicability through understand and interpretation of engineering drawings and design blueprints

Qualifications:

• Experience in export compliance management
  
• Technical background reading and understanding blueprints and design specifications
  
• Ability to communicate with design engineers
  
• Project management skills
  
• Experience in ITAR and BIS export licensing for hardware, software and technology
• Engineering Degree
