GLOBAL TRADE COMPLIANCE MANAGER - OHIO

Overview:  New opportunity to develop and lead the trade compliance program at a leading billion dollar international equipment manufacturing company.  Create your own import compliance department overseeing compliance for multiple facilities in the US and abroad.  

Location:  Cleveland, Ohio

Responsibilities:

• Lead global company toward first class trade compliance program
• Provide trade compliance training to company employees and  associates in US and overseas
• Develop, implement and manage global import compliance program
• Advise management on changes to import and export regulations worldwide
• Implement 10+2 procedures in coordination with suppliers, brokers and forwarders
• Classify imported products under the HTS
• Manage import documentation process for brokers, forwarders and customers
• Develop and update company trade compliance manual as required amended
• Obtain C-TPAT certification for the company’s business units
• Oversee valuation policy including transfer pricing and assists

Qualifications:

• Experience building and managing an import compliance program preferably in a manufacturing environment (5+ years)
• Customs Broker License Required
• Bachelor's Degree Required
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally regularly
