POSITION: SENIOR EXPORT SPECIALIST – CT

Job Summary:  Join the growing trade compliance team of a solid and stable subsidiary of a Fortune 100 company. 

Location:  Connecticut

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

-Create and submit BIS and ITAR export licenses and agreements
-Oversee export licensing for controlled hardware, software and technical data
-Determine applicability of export licensing and controls with company associates
-Develop and implement export compliance processes and procedures
-Maintain export compliance aspects of the company intranet website
-Advise management and associates on export licensing requirements
-Provide export compliance training for export compliance to employees
-Communicate export compliance licensing requirements to all business unit employees
-Update company intranet export compliance website
-Make jurisdiction and export classification determinations
-Support compliance team efforts for domestic and international business units

Qualifications:

• Experience in export compliance management in the Aerospace industry
  
• Experience with ITAR and BIS export compliance
  
• Experience in drafting and submitting ITAR and BIS export licenses
  
• Bachelor’s degree required
