February 11th, the Incoterms class (TRD-141) class is scheduled to start. Terms such as EXW, FOB, CIF and DDP are well known, however many exporters and importers don’t completely understand their meaning or significance, which when all parties involved use and understand these terms, it will save time, money, and frustration.
Planning to take the US Customs Brokers Exam in 2010?
IIEI is offering the very popular US Customs Broker’s Exam Prep Course (TRD 304) to help prepare for the April 2010 examination. This class starts February 11th, ends March 24, 2010.
What would be the outcome of your company’s export management system if the U.S. Government conducted an audit? Our popular Managing Disclosures class (TRD 319) begins February 11th. This course examines the topics of voluntary and involuntary disclosures. You may find the concepts and topics reviewed in this course helpful in determining your own disciplined and unique methods for making voluntary disclosures and to being prepared for investigations and directed disclosures.
The next Understanding the ITAR (TRD-306) class begins February 18th. Are you responsible for corporate export compliance and understanding the International Traffic in Arms Regulations? This course is current with ITAR regulations, regulations of the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) and appropriate portions of the United States Code.
Controlled export rules can be very detailed. For example, did you know that sharing your company’s technical data or source code to a foreign national is considered an export, even if the sharing is within our nation’s borders? If your company is not fluent with the concept of Deemed Exports and all its implications with the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), The International Import-Export Institute’s new Deemed Exports course (TRD-315) will help you master this complex topic. Class starts March 25th.
